Q: What is the OpinionInn Panel Portal?

A: OpinionInn is an online community dedicated to help its consumers to voice out their opinions to the world’s most renowned companies. We seek to help our customers in providing their valuable feedback and they can even earn cash rewards by participating in Online Surveys. We also provide a platform to our customers wherein they can express their thoughts by participating in Online Polls which are created to cater various fields.

Once you become a member of our online community, the services offered by us will be free of charge to you! As a bonus, you will earn Cash Rewards for taking surveys

Q: How do I become a member?

A: To become a member of OpinionInn, simply click on "Sign Up" tab on the main screen of the site. You will be asked some ordinary questions. Once done, you will be sent a confirmation email with a verification link. To finalize your registration, you must click on the link in the email to confirm your registration. After this, your registration will be confirmed and you shall be able to participate in the surveys.

Q: Is registration free?

A: Registration to OpinionInn is completely free - you will not be asked for any payment. On the contrary, it is you who earns money that will be transferred to your PayPal account (once you reach a minimum amount of $25.00) by taking part in our surveys.

Q: Why should I become a OpinionInn member?

A: Becoming a member of OpinionInn comes with an array of benefits. Once you become a member, you can take surveys not only offered by OpinionInn but also conducted by our numerous clients. As soon as you register, you can begin accumulating money in your OpinionInn account. Once you reach our minimum threshold of US $25.00, you can transfer it to your PayPal account. Also, when you sign in, US$10.00 will be credited in your account to help you reach your minimum threshold of US$25.00 faster.

Q: What is OpinionInn's business?

A: OpinionInn is an online portal that invites thousands of people to take surveys on fields of your interest such as which restaurant you visit most often or which is your favorite brand of coffee. The purpose of these surveys is to collect your opinions and thoughts about the products and services offered by various renowned companies. Your opinions once shared, will have a direct impact on these companies on how or what you (the consumers) want.

Q: Why does OpinionInn ask for personal information such as name and Date of birth?

A: We ask for personal information such as your name, address, gender, birthday etc. so we can send you suitable online surveys which will increase your chances to qualify in those surveys. Other information you are asked to provide in your profile section after you have created your account with us, is to further increase your chances to participate in many other surveys. All the information provided by you remains confidential.

Participating in surveys

Q: What if I have difficulties with a survey, and why does this happen?

A: The reason it happens is that we do various surveys simultaneously and have a mix of surveys programmed by many of our clients. So, the difficulty can arise by either compatibility of system you are using to take the survey and the software on which the survey is programmed. Since there are many people who take these surveys simultaneously using a wide variety of operating systems, browsers, Internet connection types, and hardware. Since, not all are necessarily compatible with the technology of all surveys that may be available, that can lead to difficulties in taking surveys. Sometimes, there is no technical glitch and it can be caused by a simple human error. If you face any issue, please wait for some time till the error is sorted out, however if you still face the problem, please reach to us quoting the Project number of the survey and we will try out best to sort that out.

Q: Why is the survey full when I just received the invitation a brief time ago?

A: Sometimes the emails are not delivered immediately by your email service provider, or it may happen that the survey was already taken by other respondents who started the survey prior to you. We Sincerely apologize for any such inconvenience caused to you. We also thank you for your participation. Please be sure that we will send more survey’s your way for sure.

Q: What are profile questions and where can I find them?

A: Your Profile questions can be accessed by clicking the "My Profile" tab at the top of the site, here you will see various profiles to be updated by you. Profile questions are designed to improve personalization of the surveys. Once you have answered all profiling questions, you will receive more and better targeted survey invitations.

You can also access the same on your homepage by clicking the tabs presented in ‘Manage your Profile’ section.

Q: How can I participate in surveys on OpinionInn?

A: Complete your registration on OpinionInn and verify your email by clicking on the link you receive in your mailbox. After that you will start getting surveys from us. When a survey opportunity appears matching your profile, you will receive an invitation by email or you can also see the surveys available in your homepage and under “My Survey” Tab in OpinionInn. Keep updating your Profile section and we will send you surveys where your chances to qualify the survey are high.

You can opt out from this service at any time by going to your account page.

Q: How much Incentive will I earn for my participation?

A: For each completed survey, you can earn between 25 Cents and US $20.00 (depending on the length of the survey). Some special surveys could have even higher rewards values.

Q: How long does it take to complete a survey?

A: It depends on each survey. The number of questions in each survey will determine how much time it will take you to complete the survey.

Q: Will OpinionInn try to sell me something?

A: No. The surveys will never be used to sell or promote a product, nor will you receive any advertising or promotional material for joining the OpinionInn panel portal.

Q: Sometimes it appears as if I've answered a lot of questions only to find out that I don't qualify for the whole survey. Why?

A: This depends on criteria required for each survey; some surveys are looking for a very specific group of people who meet a very narrow set of demographic criteria. Sometimes, determining whether someone qualifies for a survey takes just a few questions. Sometimes it may take more questions. Please do know that we appreciate your participation and that even when you don't qualify, your participation helps contribute to the success of the study. To increase the chances that you will qualify for future online surveys, complete all the personal profile questions.

Q: Why does it take longer to receive credit for some surveys than others?

A: The timing of crediting incentives depends on the survey. For some surveys, credits are applied very quickly or within a few days, whilst for others, the credits are applied after the survey has closed. You can expect to wait for six to eight weeks from survey closure for points to be credited to your account, though we try to limit this as much as possible.

Q: Why does OpinionInn ask so many questions in surveys?

A: This is because some surveys are looking for a very specific group of people who meet a very narrow set of demographic criteria. Sometimes, determining whether someone qualifies for a survey takes just a few questions. Sometimes it may take more questions.

Q: Why does OpinionInn keep asking the same questions in almost every survey?

A: OpinionInn's profiling process is continuous — the objective to have broad and current attributes on each member. Our clients make marketing decisions based on responses from our members in their surveys. We must implement strict quality controls to make sure you are part of the target the client is looking for. The questions we ask at the beginning of each survey may seem repetitive but are necessary to ensure the integrity of the survey sample.

Q: What happens to my answers when I don't qualify for a survey?

A: When you do not qualify for a survey, your responses cannot be used in the final research findings, and therefore are never transferred to our clients. Likewise, OpinionInn will never use or transfer these responses for internal use. The information you enter cannot be used for our client’s research, most of the times no reward will be issued for an incomplete study.

Q: I've forgotten my password, what should I do?

A: On the home page, next to "Sign in" button you will see Forgot Password button, click on it. You will be asked to provide the email address associated with your OpinionInn account. Your password will be sent to your email ID and you can login using the password provided. After you have logged in your Opinioninn account, we request you to update your password in My Profile Tab.
